I was born and raised in Roxbury. In 2013 I graduated from Boston Latin Academy and went on to earn my degree in Public and Community Service Studies at Providence College in 2017. Since my first job as an intern in the Boston City Council Office, I have dedicated my professional life to amplifying the voices of marginalized people and creating change in my community, wherever that may be. During my time at Providence College I was heavily involved in student activism, taught courses on Community Organizing, and was a recipient of the Kane-Davenport Award for Community Service. Since then I have worked at organizations like Action For Boston Community Development and the Boston Women’s Workforce Council. I’m currently the Community Programs Manager at She Geeks Out, an organization whose mission is to increase gender diversity in the tech industry.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading too many books at once, being a part-time yogi, and long walks (seriously).
