A Conscious Conversation on Stakeholders: Employees
March 26, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
“Connect the dots between individual roles and the goals of the organization. When people see that connection, they get a lot of energy out of work. They feel the importance, dignity, and meaning in their job.” –Ken Blanchard
Integrating your personnel strategy with a conscious corporate mission is an essential aspect of realizing your company’s commitments to conscious business practices. Conscious capitalism cannot exist without a labor force that is engaged in the socially responsible and/or sustainable commitments of a company. An employee is a key stakeholder in this movement because employees execute the core competencies of a business on a day-to-day basis.
Our panelists will discuss how to effectively create and implement an employee engagement strategy that will create a connection between employees and the conscious objectives of the company or organization. This event will also have an introspective component where panelists and attendees will be asked to reflect on their experiences within companies that supported a conscious mission and how that influenced their commitment to the business, job duties, performance metrics etc. Conversely, attendees will reflect on their experiences as conscious employees who tried to effectuate change in a company without a conscious vision or mission.
* Understand employee engagement in a conscious business
* Learn about the role of the employee in a conscious business
* Learn how an employee can create change in a company that does not have a conscious vision or mission
