Craft Beer, Cheese & Chocolate for Charity

March 10, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

**SOLD OUT**

You are cordially invited to a unique tasting event with Family Aid Boston at Impact Hub Boston. The event will feature hand selected cheese and chocolate paired with artisan local craft beer from Night Shift, Mystic, and Harpoon Breweries to name a few.
Have you ever tasted a Saison conditioned on whole Cape Cod cranberries or a Belgian-style pale ale aged with vanilla beans & fermented with three Trappist yeast strains? What tastes better: a Porter paired with sea salt cracked pepper or coffee chocolate from Taza? Is Gouda better with an IPA or Saison? Come join us and you be the judge!

Mark McCurdy from Craft Brew England will be on hand to lead us through a basic tasting and answer some craft beer questions. Some of the takeaways will be:
-What types of beer pairs well with certain cheeses & chocolates?
-Is alcohol level or hop content more important when tasting with food?
-Simple words to help describe the types of beer you prefer
-What are some of new breweries opening in Boston in 2016?

To register for event go here: http://www.familyaidboston.org/NewsEvents/CraftBeerCheeseandChocolateforCharity.aspx

All proceeds will go to FamilyAid Boston’s programs to help homeless families return to housing and stability.
