Do you want to learn skills and grow your network in Boston? Then the New Leaders Council Fellowship is for you! NLC Boston cultivates emerging progressive leaders by connecting them to skills, opportunities, and each other. Each year 20 fellows are selected for NLC Institute – a skills and leadership training enabling them to make an impact in Boston and beyond. Paola Maynard-Moll, also known as Pao, grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She came to Massachusetts in 2002 for her undergraduate and law studies and has been living in the Commonwealth ever since. Pao is currently the Assistant Director of Public Policy at the Scholars Strategy Network, where she helps academics connect with policymakers and civic organizations so their research can better inform public policy. Pao is also Director of the Boston chapter of the New Leaders Council. Having been chosen as a Fellow in 2013, she then co-led the fellowship’s main program, the NLC Institute, in spring 2014, and has been in the Director’s role since Fall 2014.
